Timeline

1984
The Davis Family Support Center opened its doors as an outreach of the Ogden Family Support Center.

1985
The Davis Family Support Center was incorporated as a private, non-profit for the crisis/respite nursery and parenting education classes.

1987
The Family Support Center purchased property and moved to 1360 East 1450 South, Clearfield.

1991
The Center began offering therapy services.

1995
A new building was added to the Center.

1997
The Center became the Community Action Agency for Davis County and changed its name to the Davis Family Support Center dba Family Connection Center.

2000
The Uniting Neighbors program was started.

2001
A building in Bountiful was purchased and opened as a crisis/respite nursery.

2002
The Member Organized Resource Program (M.O.R.E.) program was started.

2003
With the help of Kevin Garn and the Community Development Block Grant funds from the county, the Center purchased a 15,000 square foot building in Layton to house the Food Bank and Therapy program.

2004
The Center began offering Emergency Motel Vouchers to homeless individuals and their families.

2005
The Attic Connection Thrift Store opened at the Layton Center. 

2007
A building was purchased at 780 South State Street in Clearfield, and the Attic Connection Thrift Store moved to the new location.

2008
The Davis Family Support Center dba Family Connection Center changed its name to the Family Connection Center in January 2008.

2008
The Attic Connection Center closed in April 2008 and the building was reopened as the Parent Education Center.
